Incorrect names in tort museum article

In an earlier version of the story "Renovation of future home of Ralph Nader’s American Museum of Tort Law completed," O&G Industries was incorrectly referred to as O&G Construction and Jerry Eisterhold was incorrectly referred to as Terry.

Possible independent audit of Torrington school board not a forensic audit

An earlier version of the article "Torrington council to discuss audit of school board" incorrectly identified the possible independent audit as a forensic audit.

Food services director incorrectly identified as cook

Lynn Mudry was incorrectly identified as the cook at The Gilbert School in the article "Gilbert School to leave National School Lunch Program." Her formal title at the school is food services director.

CORRECTION: Column incorrectly said Eli Broad was never a teacher

The Poor Elijah’s Almanack column "Educator’s Digest: Volume 40" stated that Eli Broad was never a teacher. According to the communications manager for the Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation, Mr. Broad was an instructor at the Detroit Institute of Technology in the 1950s. He taught accounting courses.
