It's more puzzling when part of the puzzle is missing

Different people tackle crossword puzzles for different reasons. Some do it for pure fun. So do it to exercise their vocabulary skills. Some do it to exercise their reasoning skills. And some do it for all three reasons.
But when part of the puzzle and part of the of the clues are missing, it makes working the puzzle, well, maddening.
On page C6 of the Sunday, Dec. 11, print edition of the Register Citizen, both the Sunday crossword and the clues were cut off on the right side. Our loyal crossword fans were not happy...and understandably so.
Our apologies for the error. We are working today to make sure errors like that do not happen again.
