In the March 18 story "Harwinton's first selectman insists: Town's 2012-13 budget won't increase mill rate," it was incorrectly reported that Bud Wilkinson is Chief of the Harwinton Fire Police. Wilkinson is, in fact, Deputy Chief.

Drapp is Region 6 superintendent
A front page teaser in the March 15 print edition of the Register Citizen incorrectly stated, "Edward Drapp appointed Litchfield superintendent". Drapp was appointed superintendent of Region 6 schools. The story on Page A3 had the correct information.

Shays out of office 4 years, not six
In the March 2 article, "'Maverick' Chris Shays armed with agenda for Washington," the second paragraph said Shays has been out of office for six years. He has, in fact, been out only four.

Previous tenant misidentified
In the February 29 article titled "Winsted's Valley Thrift Shop moves, but has concerns about new location's safety,"it was originally reported that the new thrift shop location was formerly the location for Gateway Auto Repair. Gateway owner Robert Zablocki said his business has never been in that location, but that the location was once home to a motorcycle repair shop.
